Waking up through the night 1 Year, 9 Months ago

What would make me wake up every 2 hours each night, usually within a 2-3 minute time frame of 2 hours?

That would be very interesting, how can I stop waking up every hour and be able to sleep the complete night to get a full night's rest and stop waking up like I never went to bed...and falling asleep the next day? Some one please help!

Try not eating a large meal before you go to sleep evenn if its two or three hours before.
Exercise a little before going to bed and take a snak. Like a bowl of cereal, or sweet bread with warm milk. Also try waking up early and not taking a nap during the day. Go to sleep half an hour before you are suppose to. And if your staying up because of worrying so much write it down, everything thats on your mind. It helped me a lot.Good Luck.

It is difficult when you don't sleep. You have to try to think of the reasons why. Is it physical? Do you have some type of sleep apnea. That can be determined by a doctor. If it is psychological, the best thing to do is try to figure out what is worrying you or what you are thinking of that may keep waking you up. So many things in life happen that we worry about - money, love, home, bills etc. Knowing that the best way to handle dealing with issues first is to get a good night sleep is the first step in handling the problems you may be thinking about. You need to psyche yourself out before bed and tell yourself 'it is ok and it will be better, I deserve happiness and peace and most of all sleep, so tonight I rest and tomorrow I will work to fix what is bothering me - but yes, tonight I'll rest' Sometimes just telling yourself that you allow yourself peace and are allowed to sleep can help. No worries and pleasant dreams.

i'd go shopping for a nice pillow, imagine its the best and can help me sleep, then sleep thinking that noone can wake me up.
do you leave your door or window open? try closing them (leave some space for circulation though), or if you close them, try leaving them open.
what about noise?
keep the fan on and it will drown out some background sound.
;)
